What to bring?

We recommend: – Polarized sunglasses – Cap/Hat – Sunscreen – Windbreaker/jacket – Gloves (For beginning and finish of the season) – Dry bag (To keep safe phone, camera, etc)

Fishing Season?

The fishing season starts every year on November 1st and ends on May 1st all around the National Park. Limay river continues open untill May 31st.  For off season fishing, lakes Nahuel Huapi, Gutiérrez and Mascardi are open throughout May and October, and Moreno lake is open the whole year round for all the fishing modalities and for Winter fishing.

Beginners?

Discover the exciting world of fly fishing in Patagonia! No experience necessary, if you’re new to the sport we’ll share our expertise and provide any gear you require. Fishing Life tailors each fishing trip to our clients’ needs and preferences, providing top-quality fishing tackle (rods, reels, lines, flies, waders, wading boots) at no extra cost. And kids are very welcome!

Do I need to bring my own fishing gear?

We provide all the fishing gear as needed at no extra cost. However, if you want to bring your own tackle, one rod #6 with floating and sinking lines will work very well for most of the locations and fishing situations. Depending your fishing preferences, you may need also a #5 and/ or a #8 rod.

Can my Mate/Friend/ Husband/Wife come to the trip?

Absolutely! We will take care that everybody enjoys the day!
