El ciclo de reproducci\u00f3n de las truchas en la Patagonia es completamente natural y no son sembradas por el hombre; de hecho esto est\u00e1 prohibido, tendiendo a preservar este tesoro \u2013truchas silvestres- que son huidizas, astutas y acrob\u00e1ticas en sus saltos. El Limay es el r\u00edo m\u00e1s importante dentro del Parque Nacional, su naciente se localiza a 17 km de la ciudad de San Carlos de Bariloche, en el extremo Este del gran lago Nahuel Huapi. Este r\u00edo ofrece diferentes posibilidades de pesca para pescadores novatos o avanzados. Es refugio de truchas Arco Iris, Marr\u00f3n y tambi\u00e9n Perca Patag\u00f3nica. Excelente para la pesca con moscas secas durante Noviembre a Marzo. Durante Abril y Mayo, enormes truchas migran desde el gran lago al r\u00edo para iniciar el ciclo de reproducci\u00f3n. El Limay posee cinco diferentes secciones, de unos 10 km cada una dentro del \u00e1rea cercana a San Carlos de Bariloche. Esto permitir\u00eda, potencialmente, pescar una secci\u00f3n diferente cada d\u00eda, durante cinco d\u00edas sin repetir el lugar de pesca. Los pescadores pueden hospedarse en la ciudad de Bariloche, o en Dina Huapi. Este gran r\u00edo fluye a trav\u00e9s de la estepa patag\u00f3nica, un \u00e1rea espectacular del Parque Nacional, con paisajes incre\u00edbles y un clima agradable. Excelente para excursiones de medio d\u00eda o d\u00eda completo, flotadas o vadeo. La claridad de sus aguas, maravillosos paisajes y excelente pesca hacen de una flotada en el r\u00edo Limay una experiencia realmente Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Nace en el lago Traful, y recorre un amplio valle en direcci\u00f3n hacia el este, hasta su desembocadura en el r\u00edo Limay. Se destaca en este r\u00edo la presencia de salmones de la especie Salm\u00f3n del Atl\u00e1ntico encerrado, entre truchas Arco Iris y patag\u00f3nica. Dada su morfolog\u00eda s\u00f3lo se puede pescar de vadeo. Distante a unos 60 km de la ciudad de Bariloche, est\u00e1 rodeado de un paisaje imponente semi-des\u00e9rtico con incre\u00edbles monta\u00f1as.  Muy seguro para la pesca vadeando, \u00e9ste r\u00edo es ideal para pescadores principiantes, aunque tambi\u00e9n pescadores avanzados lo disfrutar\u00e1n.
